Kyle Adams
Kyle Adams was the point guard for the 1976-78 Fayetteville High School Bulldogs. Among the highlights of his career was the team’s come from behind victory in the 1978 AAAA State championship game. In his two years on varsity, the Purple dogs were 56-7. In addition to the state championship, his leadership was instrumental in the Bulldogs capturing the 30th Annual Arkansas Tech Invitational tournament and the 5th Annual Interstate Basketball classic held in Coffeyville, Kansas.
At one time, Kyle held the FHS single game and season records for assisted, with 13 and 156 respectively.
He has coached basketball at Siloam Springs, Woodland Jr High, as an assistant at FHS, where the team won a state championship. Kyle was head coach of the Bulldogs 2010-2019, compiling a 179-78 record, and winning five conference championships. In addition, he was the FHS golf coach 2001-2010, winning six state championships and 10 conference championships.
Kyle is married to Johneese and has two children and three grandchildren.
