Don Logue
Don Logue graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1948. During his time as a bulldog, Logue was named All-State in football, basketball, and track. He won one State Championship in basketball and was also named an American Legion All-Star in baseball. Post high school graduation, Logue would then go on to play at the University of Arkansas where he played quarterback, lettered in basketball and track, and was named an intramural middleweight boxing champion. After three years at the University, Logue went on to play football at the Naval Academy in 1951. He was named All-Navy quarterback and All-Military Quarterback. During his time playing at the Naval Academy, Logue set the Rose Bowl Stadium record with five touchdown passes. After a career-ending injury prevented Logue from playing professionally, Logue came back to the University of Arkansas to finish his degree and during that time was a graduate assistant coach for one year under Bowden Wyatt.
Logue passed away in 2010.
